Plettenberg Bay offers the keen birder a large variety of habitats ranging from Forests, Estuaries, Oceans, Fynbos, Grasslands and Rivers. This contributes to a current a species count of almost 300.
We offer guided bird tours in and around the Plettenberg bay area which can be done either as a half day tour or at specific venues.
Our full day birding tours take place at a variety of popular birding venues along the Garden Route from Wilderness to Natures Valley.
We also offer a two day or longer birding tour to Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape which offers a wide variety of bird species accompanied by Big 5 game viewing.
Rates:
- R60 per person (minimum of 2) per hour, single rate on request
- Duration is from 2 – 5 hours per day, excluding entrance fees
- This rate includes tea/coffee basket, water, light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Transportation to and from the activity is not included.
